What thickness and hardness can be achieved with hard anodising?

We provide coating thicknesses from 25 to 100 microns (50 microns standard). This results in a superior surface hardness of 60-70 Rockwell C (300 - 350 HV) and provides excellent dielectric strength up to 2000 Volts.

What colors and applications are available for hard anodised components?

Coatings are available in Natural (Dark Grey/Bronze) or Black Dyed finishes. Common applications include Hydraulic & Pneumatic Cylinders, Automotive Pistons & Gears, Textile Machinery Rollers, and Aerospace Components.
